Hello. I'm adriannalarkin.

I believe that music has a power to heal. I am also of the belief that when we share the gifts of our passion and what we feel is our most inspired purpose, we create remarkable beauty as well as enrich the lives of all those with whom we come in contact - and that creates ‘healing’ in its own right. Music is without a doubt, my greatest passion. In choosing to take a few moments to be curious, you the listener, have granted me the honor of sharing my own inspired purpose. Within these songs is the sincere intention of this performer for whatever you recognize as Divine Intelligence to join in the sound of this music, with the hope that what enters into your life from this time forward, is nothing less than miraculous. Each song carries a silent prayer for you to receive something you desire or require - even after you have left these pages and songs behind. It may be physical healing, a solution to a problem, or just a few minutes of pleasant distraction to re-center during a busy day. At the very least, you may arrive home safely and renewed in your connection with the One that joins us all, and those who dwell nearest in your heart.

About me:
Adrianna Larkin is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. She credits her writing style to her parents who made it a point to fill their house with everything from opera to country to ethnic folk music. She learned that what makes a song good is that thread that remains with you to inspire you to hear it again and again. Influenced by artists such as Carly Simon, Joan Baez, Billy Joel and Mary Chapin Carpenter, Adrianna's use of lyrical imagery creates a listening experience that is felt as much as it is heard. Though most often placed in a folk genre, Adrianna has created a niche that trescends any one classification. Her 'musical soup' as she is so fond of calling it contains everything from blues, to jazz, to Celtic, to folk, even some Latin rhythms - and it doesn't stop there. She has created nearly 50 songs to date which have included themes for radio and television. Adrianna has been a member of the International Who's Who, the Songwriters Guild of America, and served as an executive performance director for a non-profit dedicated to supporting the growth or art in the Midwest. She has performed at well known venues in the St. Louis area, such as Westport Playhouse and The Sheldon Concert Hall. In 2004 she was one of four artists selected from the United States and Canada for the second volume of a singer-songwriter series through Wild Oats Records, Nashville. As host and producer of a blogtalkradio program entitled Passion’s Purpose & Prosperity, she features guests from a variety of disciplines to talk about what they feel most inspired to do and the difference their passion makes in the world around us. In April of 2010 she is scheduled to release her book: Igniting the Sacred Fire - Reinventing Yourself at Any Age (© 2009 all rights reserved) based on her own experience, as well as that of the many people she connected with through the radio program . Her next album Alchemy, a collection of love songs, is in production and scheduled for release at the end of 2010. Adrianna Larkin has created jingles for businesses and a variety of media programs.
